Results of Utah POA Sale:
Less than hoped, all figures not in, but profit appears to be between $300-$400
Sold $12,000 in ponies, a 10% commission, Auctioneer was just over $1200 (flight in, motel, food, car, fee), @$600 to print the catalog and ads, entries were @$1000
George Bishop Futurity:
Lost $300 after payments. The Bishop family donated $100 for awards, it was divided into 1/3 for the 3 first place winners.
Western States Classic venue has not been chosen for 2007. Hearsay that Loveland,CO is preparing a proposal as well as one for Spanish Fork.
Issues with the Classic – expense, worth no more than a regional in points, doesn't have the big trophies the World had, doesn't make the money the World Show made. Utah donated $5,000 to the POA scholarship fund from our World Show.
Regional Show:
profit $800 - $1000 All bills are not in.
Fun Show was poorly attended. The funds generated are for participation awards. Dorothy Durrant donated the food for the snack stand. We have no amount for this but it was substantial. Shauna Hatch donated the arena costs of $30 as well as the costs for copying the advertising. BOD are questioning the need for one in 2007. Needs more advertising. Was it too close to the Classic and Regional?
Spanish Fork Show – not well attended.
September 9th, POA show – Genola arena
Cost is $50 for arena, no sound system – Susan is working on a sound system.
Will not have a separate trail judge. Trail will follow jumping, Set the trail pattern as the jumps are being picked up.

They are in charge of classes. They will be at the beginning of the show. Separate judges
